Video for "The Path Through the Woods"

This video was an experimental film created from found-footage on 16mm film from the 1960-70's, hand-spliced together to create a loose narrative sequence accompanying the song "Path Through the Woods."  I spread the resulting film out on the sidewalk, stretching almost an entire city block, and hand-painted and scratched the cells for the desired atmospheric effect.  The film was then run through a reel-digitization device to create a video file of the original.
